Here she is, in all her incomplete glory! I'm really pleased with her so far. Today I picked up some nice polar fleece in the lighter browny/taupey (is that a word?) colour to do up a lining.
Spent most of the day applying for jobs and trying to get myself new gainful employment. NOT looking forward to tomorrow. I just wish that every day could be Sunday. Kind of laid back, getting some stuff done, playing with the dogs, a little knitting and reading. It's all good I tell you! All good.

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! The postal service has come through and the socks (and other wonderful goodies!) have arrived. The socks fit perfectly, and you picked my favorite colors too! They have not left my feet since arriving, and I am about to go show them off at church tonight. The other yarns are gorgeous as well, I couldn't have hoped to have a better secret pal. Love lace knitting, and am sure I will find a suitable pattern at the fiber festival next month. Thank you again, will post on my blog (Clicking Needles on blogger.com) with pictures if I find time!
