Yarn Porn

Hey. How ya doin'? Good, good. Just wanted to share a little yarn porn with y'all. We finally got some sunshine here so I promptly ran outside and took some picis.
Now that life finally settled down a bit I got started on my Sockapaloooza socks. These are the Simply Lovely Lacy Socks from IK Spring 2006. I had some vintage cashmere/lambswool/wool blend in my stash that is doing and admirable job of looking both lovely and lacy. And they are soooo soft.

Then I received these babies in the mail. This was one of those happy birthday to me things. That's Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sock in Black Purl and Rainbow. The Rainbow colourway just makes me smile and think of going to the circus.And, finally, here is a much better pici of the handspun my secret pal sent me. Isn't it beautiful? I love it. I keep fondling it everytime I come near it. Kinda creepy really.

Oh, and in other news. I went back to my old job. I can only handle a certain level of crazy and the hospital was way over my tolerance level! Much happier to be back where I belong.

And, on another note, went Salsa dancing with friends on Friday night at a Spanish/Latino/Mexican nightclub. Awesome time! We're thinking a taking some lessons. Oh, and the Crantinis were also quite lovely. :)
